Deck Rebuild
A tired wood deck rebuilt on its own footprint with new boards, a black baluster rail, and skirting that finally closes the whole thing in.

The deck was sound in plan but finished out, so we kept the footprint the family already used and rebuilt everything above it. New boards throughout in a grey that will not need staining every other summer, a new rail with white posts and black aluminum balusters that you can actually see the yard through, and new skirting run vertically to close in the space underneath. The steps were rebuilt to match. It carries a hot tub at one end, so the framing under that corner was sized for it.
